I Am ‘Sentía’
Sentía, adj. andaluz: emotional, sensitive.
Sometimes being so ‘sentía’ can be effing hard because feeling overwhelmed by feelings and emotions can be challenging to process. But it’s beautiful too, just as this word of the Andalusian vocabulary.
The good thing (not to say the best) once we learn how to be with those feelings, set some firm boundaries and hold space for ourselves… being emotional, being empathetic, being ‘sentía’ is actually a very powerful tool.
It’s what makes us the space-holders others need. It’s what makes us alive. Radiant.
Being ‘sentía’ now means to me being open to living life at its fullest. And life is hard to feel sometimes. Even in tough times, instead of being an emotional rock, I choose to be ‘sentía’ and appreciate the beauty that life brings in all its forms.
As an empowered ‘sentía’ I choose to lead with my heart. And The Mentor Training helped me establish the baseline for this. On that note, I’m proud to announce that I will be part of the leadership team!
So, from April, I will hold space and guide fellow ‘sentías’ to themselves, so they can lead with an open heart and solid foundations.
